Nowadays, many people still have... Oil Drilling Solid Control Equipment We often lack basic information about it, so as the manufacturer, it is essential for us to provide a brief overview. In fact, this oil-drilling solids-control equipment is ubiquitous; its unique design plays a crucial role in industrial applications. Therefore, it is important to promptly understand its operating principles and structural design, so that operators can become more familiar with and proficient in its use.

During drilling operations, high-pressure mud from oil-drilling solids-control equipment helps to enhance rig productivity and removes cuttings from the drilling environment. However, when cuttings become entrained in the mud, the solid-phase content increases, degrading the mud’s performance and precluding its reuse in multiple circulation cycles—thus failing to meet sustainable-development objectives. To achieve sustainable mud utilization and reduce drilling costs, it is essential to control the solid-phase content, remove sand and gravel particles, and enable repeated reuse of the mud under appropriate conditions while maintaining its performance. Our independently developed and manufactured mud-solid-control system is designed to purify the mud and restore its performance. By means of its internal mechanical configuration, the system progressively treats high-solids-content mud returning from the wellhead and performs functions such as distribution and weighing, thereby restoring the mud’s operational properties and realizing the goal of sustainable mud use.
Oil Drilling Solid Control Equipment After each use, the rotor and suction pipe inside the vacuum tank should be flushed. Disconnect the power supply, remove the sight-glass cover, and inspect all components for damage. Also, clear any foreign matter from the pipelines and flush the tank walls and rotor with high-pressure water. These cleaning procedures must be performed after every use to ensure normal operation in subsequent uses. Every month, lubricate the spindle bearings with 200 ml of sodium-based grease using a grease gun. Before each start-up, check the water levels in the air–water separator and the vacuum pump; the equipment may only be started when the water levels have reached the specified marks. In winter, promptly drain the water from the air–water separator and the vacuum pump after use to prevent freezing and cracking.
Common solid-control equipment used in oil drilling includes mud pumps, mud cleaners, vacuum degassers, desanders, desilters, medium-speed centrifuges, high-speed centrifuges, mud mixers, mud mixing tanks, jet mixers, sand pumps, and other types of pumps.
