Advantage and Characteristics of Resonant Vibrating Screen
The multi-layer Drilling fluid shaker was first proposed for research in 2015, with a prototype manufactured and launched for field trials in 2016. Through iterative innovation by the company’s technical team, it has now evolved into a full product line that fully meets the selection and needs of mid- to high-end customers. Over nearly five years of field application in more than 2,000 wells across various regions—including the Zhongyuan Oilfield, Liaohe Oilfield, Chuanqing Oilfield, Karamay Oilfield in Xinjiang, and Yanchang Oilfield—this shaker has proven capable of using screens as fine as 280 mesh or finer, thereby replacing the desanders (120 mesh), desilters (200 mesh), and integrated cleaners (260 mesh) commonly used by drilling crews. Long-term calculations show that it can save 150 kW of electricity per hour, equating to 1,800 kW of energy savings per day.
Main Features of Multi-Layer Vibrating Screens
This Drilling fluid shaker innovatively adopts vertical parallel technology and multi-layer filtration technology, which not only greatly enhances the liquid-phase and solid-phase handling capabilities of the drilling fluid shaker but also improves its filtration accuracy;
Mechanical Structural Features of Vibration Screens
This vibrating screen is equipped with a product upgrade port, allowing for adjustments to the excitation force and vibration frequency by modifying the screen’s mechanical structure.
Translational elliptical motion trajectory
The use of a translational elliptical motion trajectory enables the mud to stay on the Drilling fluid shaker for a longer time, resulting in drier cuttings;
Vibrating screen filtration area
The double-deck screen has a filtration area of 6.4 m², while the triple-deck screen boasts 9.6 m², compared with only 2.7 m² for a conventional vibrating screen; thus, the filtration area of a multi-deck vibrating screen is 2.5 to 3.5 times that of a conventional vibrating screen.
Service life
It employs a compact, modular composite-frame screen mesh made from imported materials, offering a service life of up to 1,000 hours—compared with approximately 200 hours for conventional screen meshes.
The screen mesh can have a mesh count of 350 or more;
Screen mesh press-fitting method
Two clamping methods are available: integrated wedge-type pressure blocks or inflatable air bags. On average, four screen meshes can be replaced in 1–2 minutes, making this the most convenient and fastest pressing method currently on the market. Customers can select the appropriate option based on their specific needs.
