  Maintenance and Servicing Techniques for Drilling Fluid Shaker

   Drilling fluid shaker Upon shipment, the vibrator is filled with lubricating oil that also provides corrosion protection; the shelf life is three months. If the shelf life has expired, the unit may be operated for 20 minutes to re-establish corrosion protection for an additional three months. During operation, the lubricating oil must be replaced with clean oil. The vibrator’s vent should be opened regularly; otherwise, blockage may lead to oil leakage. If leakage persists even after clearing the vent, the oil seal should be replaced. The bearing temperature should not exceed 75°C during normal operation. For new vibrators, a running-in period is required, so the temperature may be slightly elevated at first; however, after 8 hours of operation, the temperature must stabilize. If the temperature remains excessively high, the oil grade, oil level, and oil cleanliness should be inspected.

  To ensure proper operation in the greasy, dusty environment inside the machine, grease should be added more frequently. When replacing the V-belt, completely loosen the motor base bolts to facilitate insertion of the belt into the pulley groove; never pry the V-belt with a stick or other object. The V-belt tension must be appropriate, and the pulleys must be aligned. After adjusting the tension, run the equipment for 48 hours, then retighten the bolts connecting the vibrator to the screen box using high-strength bolts—ordinary bolts are not permitted as substitutes. The drilling fluid shaker requires regular inspections, conducted once a month; even slight loosening of any fastening bolt can lead to the breakage of other bolts and damage to the drilling fluid shaker. During riveting, replace with high-strength bolts, and ensure that all contact surfaces and holes are free of iron, dust, oil, rust, and burrs. All high-strength bolts and washer assemblies used must comply with the technical requirements for high-strength large hexagonal bolts and large hexagonal washers for steel structures.

  To prevent residual stresses caused by welding, welding operations should be performed by skilled operators. To inhibit crack propagation, 6-mm-diameter holes should be drilled at both ends of any existing cracks, the grooves on either side of the crack should be leveled with a shovel, and the workpiece should be preheated to approximately 60°C. A 3-mm-diameter electrode of the appropriate type should be used, ensuring that slag is thoroughly removed and that no slag inclusion occurs. The convex weld beads on both sides of the reinforcement plate should be flattened during welding. All welds must be parallel to the cross beams; when welding the wire-mesh support cross beams, transverse welding is prohibited. When using AC welding, the shielding cover must be properly grounded to prevent current from passing through the bearings.

  1. Collisions with the screen are strictly prohibited during lifting and installation operations;

  2. Regularly inspect the fasteners of the vibration motor plates for looseness and tighten them as necessary.

  3. The vibration-control motor shall be maintained as follows: ensure adequate lubrication; replenish or replace the lubricant approximately every 500 operating hours using molybdenum disulfide lithium-based grease, applying the grease with a grease gun through the unsealed ports at both ends.

  4. Do not disconnect the motor cable at will;

  5 . Drilling fluid shaker The filter should be inspected regularly, and if any damage or loosening is detected, it must be replaced or tightened immediately.

  The above is the maintenance and care of the Drilling fluid shaker. For more information, please feel free to contact us! Our company has many years of experience and looks forward to your joining at any time.
