The submersible slurry pump features a single-stage, single-suction cantilever design, with pedestal-mounted bearings and a rubber-sleeve coupling that connects the pump’s hydraulic components. The liquid is discharged through the discharge pipe assembly. The pump’s centrifugal impeller is a semi-open type, equipped with agitator blades at the inlet widening of the impeller blades. A key feature of this pump is that its submersible shaft exhibits sufficient bending stiffness, and no rolling bearings are installed between the impeller and the pump casing; moreover, it does not employ a mechanical seal. This pump is also capable of handling slurries containing solid particles at relatively high concentrations.
The importance of submersible slurry pumps in oilfield drilling solids control systems:
(1) The drilling fluid, which has been substantially desanded by the mud shaker, is pumped into a hydrocyclone desander or desilter at a specified pressure and flow rate to further reduce the sand content in the drilling fluid;

(3) It works in conjunction with water jet mixing equipment to intensify and configure drilling fluid. The LSB series submersible slurry pumps are vertical, single-stage, single-suction centrifugal pumps with a cantilever design. They are constructed from wear-resistant aluminum alloy and are capable of handling highly concentrated particulate slurries. The standard submergence depth is 1.3 m or 1.5 m, with custom lengths available upon request. Neither the impeller nor the pump casing is equipped with rolling bearings or mechanical seals, resulting in a maintenance-free, heat-resistant submersible slurry pump. These pumps are ideal for supplying slurry to centrifugal dewatering units and for delivering slurry from slurry tanks to vibrating screens within slurry systems.
